Senator Favola received a 100% score from the Virginia Humane Society in 2023 for her advocacy for animal welfare in the commonwealth. She serves on the Companion Animals Subcommittee in the Senate.

Senator Favola was excited to have been recognized with a 2023 Health Care Champion Award from the Virginia Healthcare & Hospital Association.
[Above and below images]: Senator Favola was honored to receive a 2022 Childcare Champion of the Year Award from Virginia Promise in Action for her working expanding Virginia’s access to affordable and effective childcare. The Senator currently chairs the Senate Committee on Rehabilitation and Social Services, which hears many bills related to childcare.
Senator Favola was honored two years in a row (2022 & 2023) with an A+ rating from Climate Cabinet Action for her work to combat climate change and transition Virginia to sustainable energy sources. She serves on the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Conservation, and Natural Resources.
